EuroScipy 2019 Keynote

In September 2019 I had the pleasure of giving a keynote talk at EuroScipy 2019 in Bilbao, Spain. The talk, titled “From Galaxies to Brains! — Image processing with Python”, gave an overview of how tools developed for astrophysics can be applied to problems in medical imaging, and vice versa.

The talk covers weak gravitational lensing, PSF modelling, sparse image reconstruction, and the PySAP software package, which brings together methods from astrophysics and MRI.
